People are always surprised when they hear that I watch a lot of football. Watching football is a recent development in my life, and mainly transpired after my boyfriend taught me all of the rules and clued me in to how the game works. Overall, I enjoy watching sports because I am an extremely competitive person who sorely lacks any kind of athletic ability.
This year, I am in two Fantasy Football leagues, which means that instead of just being familiar with the losers that play for the Chiefs, I have to learn about the players on every single team. If it wasn’t for Fantasy Football, I would not have known about my darling Clinton Portis, or the lovely LenDale White or the foxy Phillip Rivers.
I’m not going to lie…when I picked a bunch of my fantasy players at the beginning of the season, I picked them based on how weird/bizarre their names were (mainly because I didn’t know who the hell most of them were, or if they were good players or not). How could you not want a player on your team named Laveranues Coles? (Well, in hindsight, he is a very inconsistent player…so choosing him was a mistake. But still.)

Undoubtedly the names are surely cooler…..but I don’t think so the names are easy as well.. the biggest headache about these names are it difficult pronunciation….but I think the coolest and easiest name in the NFL is Donovan McNabb…. isn’t the name is coolest and easy to remember….
