I’m not going to lie, I spend a lot of time on the internet (although, if you were a reader of this blog, my Monkees site, and my Buffalo Springfield site, it may not appear that way, as I never seem to update them..)
I’m always finding new websites to stalk and enjoy, so here are some new ones that are worth a daily trip.
Child of The Moon
-This blog is genius, in my opinion. If I had more time and energy (and foresight), I would create something just like this. Child of the Moon essentially catalogues the fashionable people, trends, and aesthetics of the 1960s and 1970s. Each post discusses a single theme, whether it’s the style of Anita Pallenberg, the design collective The Fool, Penelope Tree, the look of the boutique Biba, or bellbottoms. It’s updated almost daily and is of interest to anyone who appreciates fashion and the pop culture of the 1960s and 1970s.
-Buttercup Punch
-These ladies were some of the first, sassiest, and most interesting commentator superstars at Jezebel before things there started going in a….different direction, shall I say. The sass definitely continues, and so does the intelligent discussion about issues that are important to women.
-Mixtape Maestro Presents: 90s R&B Junkie
-An MP3 blog devoted to one of my favorite musical genres: 90s R&B!!! This blog has it all; New Jack Swing, slow jams, party hip hop, neo-soul, Native Tongues era stuff, cheesy r&b boy bands, TLC’s “No Scrubs”, and all of the songs we remember from middle school and high school.
Thank you very much for the lovely shout out on you’re blog! I am so happy that you like my site! I also like yours very much.
I really love Child of the Moon. Thanks for posting that link:)
